Description:
We are seeking an enthusiastic Consultant in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry to work full-time hours per week for our client’s inpatient team based in Bristol, Somerset. This vacancy is available on a locum basis for an immediate start, for a short-term contract.
Responsibilities:
1. Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments of children and adolescents, considering their personal history and symptoms.
2. Formulate individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s needs and goals.
3. Lead a multidisciplinary team, collaborating with healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality, person-centered care.
4. Oversee therapeutic interventions, including medication management and crisis interventions.
5. Monitor and evaluate patient progress regularly, adjusting treatment plans as needed.
6. Contribute to risk assessments and management strategies to ensure safety and well-being.
7. Apply clinical expertise with compassion in all aspects of care.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Full GMC license to practice.
* Section 12 approval.
* Proven experience in relevant field.
