We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive secondary school in Rochdale.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about supporting young people and making a positive impact within education. The successful candidate will work closely with students, teachers, and the SEN department to help pupils achieve their full potential both academically and personally.
The Role:
* Supporting students in lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
* Providing one-to-one and small group support where required
* Assisting students with additional learning needs
* Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
* Supporting classroom teachers with lesson activities and behaviour management
The Ideal Candidate:
* Previous experience working with children or young people is desirable
* A patient, caring, and adaptable approach
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Passionate about supporting student development and wellbeing
* Experience supporting SEN students is beneficial but not essential
