It's more than a job An Inspection Operative is responsible for examining goods, shipments, and documentation to ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements. The role involves checking inbound and outbound cargo, identifying damages or discrepancies, supporting customs or security processes where required, and maintaining clear records. Inspection Operatives help ensure smooth supply-chain operations, minimise risk, and uphold service and compliance standards. ? 4 days on 4 days off Nights This role is responsible for the day-to-day operational functionality and performance of the inspection operations from off-loads of trailers, to presentation for inspection, and reload on to trailers. Complete and support operational checks. Assist with ensuring cleanliness and compliance of working environments to relevant health and hygiene standards. How you create impact Operational / Tactical duties Loading and unloading lorries including MHE Ensuring the correct handling of all client products at all stages within the facility whilst remaining compliant with manual handling procedures and health and safety legislation. Undertaking manual and/or electronic reporting requirements as requested Work with stakeholders to support the inspection process Updating the PINC Yard Management System following training Carry out operational tasks to achieve departmental and site objectives Maintain the inspection environment following training COSHH Awareness following training Participate and complete required training and development relevant to role.
