As a Business Development Manager, you’ll focus on securing new opportunities, developing key accounts, and positioning the business as a trusted provider. You’ll manage the full sales cycle while working closely with internal teams to deliver the right solutions for clients.
Key responsibilities:
Proactively identifying and targeting new opportunities across eCommerce, retail, and online marketplaces
Engaging with brands needing end-to-end solutions, from storage through to final delivery
Building tailored proposals based on client volumes, operational needs, and commercial goals
Leading negotiations, pricing discussions, and contract agreements
Managing and developing your sales pipeline to consistently hit revenue targets
Growing and nurturing key accounts for long-term value
Working cross-functionally with operations and internal teams
Building strong partnerships and increasing market presence
Essential skills:
Proven track record in business development, ideally within supply chain or logistics
Strong commercial awareness with the ability to win and grow accounts
Confident communicator who can influence at all levels
Highly organised with strong pipeline and time management skills
Self-driven, proactive, and target-focused
Desirable experience:
Experience within eCommerce fulfilment or third-party logistics (3PL)
Exposure to fast-growth or scale-up environments
