Vacancy: Brass Teacher (Part-Time, Self-Employed)
Bolton School Foundation is seeking a self-employed, part-time brass teacher to join its successful Music Department. The role involves teaching students on various brass instruments, from beginner to advanced levels, on a self-employed basis.
Position Details:
* Salary: Set by the teacher
* Contract Type: Self-Employed
* Position: Part Time
* Closing Date: 04/06/2025 at 12:00
Responsibilities:
* Provide 1:1 lessons to approximately 14 pupils, each lasting 35 minutes, with scope to increase pupil numbers.
* Potential ensemble coaching for suitable candidates.
* Teach on cornet, trumpet, French horn, tenor horn, euphonium, and trombone.
Bolton School Foundation has a thriving, well-resourced music department with over 30 instrumental tutors. Pupils regularly participate in exams and GCSE/A-level music studies.
The school is located on a 32-acre campus near Bolton town center, serving around 2,500 pupils across various divisions, including Primary, Girls’, and Boys’ Schools.
