GSL Education are seeking a committed, compassionate, and proactive SEN Teaching Assistant (TA) to join a welcoming school setting in Doncaster. Your Role as an SEN Teaching Assistant:
* Provide 1:1 or small-group support to pupils with a range of SEN needs, helping them access learning.
* Work closely with teaching staff to implement personalised learning and support strategies.
* Build strong, trusting relationships with students to help them feel safe, valued, and supported.
* Contribute to creating an inclusive, engaging, and nurturing classroom environment.
* Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, and other professionals to support pupil progress and development.
What You’ll Need as an SEN TA:
* Experience working with children or young people with SEN (e.g. Autism, ADHD, MLD, SLD, SEMH, or similar).
* A patient, caring, and adaptable approach to supporting learning and behaviour.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
* Understanding of SEN strategies and inclusive practice (desirable).
* An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
