Role overview
The Program Director leads one or more complex aerospace programs from concept through product delivery. This role ensures strong technical performance, on‑time and on‑budget execution, contractual compliance, and high customer satisfaction, working closely with cross‑functional teams across engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, quality, and finance.
Key responsibilities
* Own end‑to‑end program delivery across scope, schedule, cost, quality, risk, and technical performance
* Define and execute program plans, budgets, resources, milestones, and performance metrics
* Identify and manage program risks, configuration control, and change processes
* Lead cross‑functional teams and align stakeholders to program objectives
* Manage customer relationships, contracts, and commercial performance
* Oversee program financials, forecasts, and earned value metrics
* Ensure compliance with aerospace standards, regulatory requirements, and safety policies
* Build, develop, and lead high‑performing program teams
* Report program status, risks, and recommendations to senior leadership

Skills & experience
* Proven experience leading complex, multi‑disciplinary programs
* Strong program management capability (planning, scheduling, budgeting, EVM)
* Technical depth with the ability to balance cost, schedule, and performance
* Effective leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
* Experience managing risk, contracts, and customer relationships
* Data‑driven decision‑making with a focus on execution
