We're looking for an organised, commercially minded person to help run two core parts of our ecommerce business: product listings and purchasing/replenishment.
This is a hands-on role where you'll manage supplier price lists, build and improve listings across our sales channels, and keep stock levels healthy by reordering at the right time. You'll also spend a lot of time speaking with suppliers by phone, negotiating pricing and solving issues quickly.
Previous experience is preferred but not essential. If you're sharp, confident on the phone, and can stay organised, we can train the rest.
What you'll be doing
Purchasing & supplier management
Speak with suppliers on the phone regularly to manage pricing, availability and lead times
Negotiate better costs and terms where possible
Create purchase orders and manage reorders to prevent stockouts
Track inbound stock, chase ETAs and resolve supplier issues
Price lists & product cost updates
Manage supplier price lists and updates (new lines, discontinued products, cost changes)
Maintain accurate product costs to protect margin
Flag pricing problems early and keep data clean across systems
Product listings & catalogue management
Create and maintain product listings across Shopify, Amazon, eBay (and other channels as needed)
Ensure product information is accurate: specs, pack sizes, barcodes, weights/dimensions, variations, images
Improve existing listings to increase conversion and reduce returns (clearer information, better structure)
Bulk uploads / data work
Upload products or updates using spreadsheets/CSV files when needed
Keep product data organised and consistent so it syncs correctly across channels
What we're looking for
Key skills
Confident speaking on the phone: negotiating pricing and dealing with suppliers is a core part of the role
Organised and reliable: you keep track of multiple moving parts and follow through
Strong attention to detail: especially around pack sizes, specs, costs and product data
Experience (preferred, not essential)
Prior experience with Amazon, eBay, Shopify would be a big advantage
Any experience with purchasing, stock control, product listings, or supplier management is helpful
Excel / Google Sheets skills are a benefit, especially for bulk uploads and working with price lists
What success looks like
Fewer stockouts and fewer urgent "we've run out" moments
Cleaner supplier pricing and better negotiated costs over time
Accurate, well-structured listings across channels
Faster product uploads and smoother catalogue maintenance
Location / working style
