Your Role as an SEN Teacher:
As a valued member of the school’s team, you will be supported throughout your time there. You will have access to many methods, and the children you will be supporting will already have plans in place for you to follow.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Teaching pre-planned lessons
* Supporting students with SEMH by following their individualised plans.
* Building strong, trusting relationships with students where they feel safe.
* Supporting the teaching assistant with classroom activities.
* Implementing pre-planned strategies to meet the diverse needs of students.
* Collaborating with teachers and fellow support staff to foster a positive environment.
* Promoting the well-being, confidence, and inclusion of all students.

* QTS, NQT or ECTs
* An Understanding of SEN and SEMH.
* Compassion, patience, and a positive attitude.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
* Adaptability and resilience to meet the unique needs of each student.
