TheRole
Canterbury Cathedral is seeking a dedicated and detail-orientated individual to join its housekeeping team. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the upkeep and presentation of one of England's most treasured landmarks.
The successful candidate must be fully flexible in their approach to hours and days worked as the cleaning operation spans 7 days a week/365 days a year, with shifts varying between the hours of 7am to 5pm.
What you'll be doing
* Cleaning offices and public areas of the precincts to a high standard
* Cleaning guest bedrooms and bathrooms, including re-making beds, to a high standard
* Deep cleaning rooms as instructed by the Head Housekeeper and/or Housekeeping Supervisor
* Assisting with in-house laundry when required.
* Reporting any defects/maintenance issues to the Head Housekeeper and/or Housekeeping Supervisor
