Are you an experienced Controls Engineer looking for a role that combines technical challenge with global exposure? Our client is seeking a talented professional to join their Controls and R&D team permanently, working on cutting-edge handling manipulators, grinders and robotic systems. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of projects from concept through to commissioning at customer sites in the UK and worldwide.
What you'll be doing:
As a Controls Engineer you'll design and develop control systems for new and existing products, configure and programme PLCs and HMIs and troubleshoot complex systems to meet customer requirements. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of control systems. Expect to conduct rigorous testing, maintain detailed documentation and provide technical support during production. International travel (on average around 10 weeks per year) will see you installing and commissioning equipment, training operators and ensuring safe, efficient deployment.
What we're looking for:
