The Activity Den caters for ages ranging from 0-11 years, offering energetic and creative activities in a regulated, safe and happy environment. Each shift can be an adventure with varied activities.
We’re a team that prioritises support and well‑being. Our nursery staff and managers share experience and knowledge to achieve guest excellence.
Job title and pay
CHILDCARE PRACTITIONER | £13.29 per hour
Our Activity Den is popular with guests and their children. You will help create a brilliant, fun-filled and stimulating environment, ensuring children have a good time while staying safe and supporting learning in the setting.
Even in a leisure setting, we must follow industry rules and regulations, so completing paperwork is an essential requirement of the role.
You’ll be naturally cheerful, friendly and approachable, and you will work well in a team. Building relationships and trust with parents is as important as communicating with children.
To apply, you must be able to reliably commute to Center Parcs Woburn Forest, MK45 2HZ, as it is not easily accessible by public transport. If you plan to use public transport, please plan your journey accordingly.
Due to the sensitive nature of this role, the successful applicant will be required to undergo a Disclosure and Barring Service check. This disclosure, together with other selection information, will need to be satisfactory to the Company for employment to commence.
Hours of work
We have flexible contracts available. Your hours may vary each week, but you will receive at least your contracted hours each period.
* 90 hours per 4 weeks — 3 days a week, every other weekend — Earliest start 8am, latest finish 7:15pm
* 120 hours per 4 weeks — 4 days a week, every other weekend — Earliest start 8am, latest finish 7:15pm
As our village is open 365 days a year, your working hours will include public/bank holidays and during Christmas and/or New Year on a rota basis.
About you
Essential requirements:
* Ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with adults and children in groups of different sizes
* Minimum Level 2 in childcare or equivalent
* Naturally outgoing, cheerful and enthusiastic personality
Desirable requirements:
* Previous experience in childcare or a similar environment
* Previous experience working within the customer service industry
