The role involves designing steel structures, producing engineering calculations, and supporting major infrastructure, commercial and industrial developments within a highly skilled technical team. This position would suit a highly experienced Structural Design Engineer with a strong background in structural steel design who enjoys working on technically demanding projects. It would particularly appeal to engineers who thrive in collaborative environments and want to contribute to large-scale, high-profile construction and infrastructure schemes. Key Responsibilities Design structural steel frames, members and connections for a range of projects Produce engineering calculations using both manual methods and industry software Liaise with clients, architects, engineers and project teams to resolve technical queries Attend project meetings and ensure designs meet technical standards and project requirements Support junior engineers and contribute to the development of the wider design team In return you’ll receive a salary up to £60k and a competitive package.
