Role Summary
A substance misuse worker, providing recovery focussed interventions to people whose alcohol and drug misuse has resulted in a range of offending behaviour.
Key Responsibilities
* To actively manage the recovery journeys of a caseload of drug and alcohol clients with complex needs
* To actively manage a caseload of clients receiving OST
* To support both drug and alcohol clients through community and in-patient detoxification programs.
* To formulate, implement and review care plans.
* To provide reports in relation to Child and Adult Safeguarding and attend Child In Need and other safeguarding meetings
Key Requirements
* Experience of working with problematic drug and alcohol users
* Experience of managing a caseload of clients receiving OST
* Experience of working in a health/social care setting
* Experience of multi-disciplinary working
