REED Finance are working exclusively with our innovative Construction based SME in Weymouth recruiting an Accounts Manager to join the team reporting into the Group Financial Director. This a permanent role with a competitive salary responsible for the accurate recording of financial information and the efficient operation of the finance function across the Group.

Duties:

• Assist with and oversee all sales ledger activities, ensuring duties are completed accurately and on a timely basis. 
• Ensure the accurate and timely processing of customer receipts
• Produce monthly sales reports for customers as requested
• Maintain and control customer rebate accruals in line with agreed terms and produce associated monthly, quarterly and annual rebate credits and/or payments
• Produce and distribute monthly sales reports to directors and Area Sales Managers
• Assist and oversee the accounts team with their purchase ledger duties to include:
• Assist and oversee the accounts team with their banking ledger duties to include:
• Daily reconciliation of GBP bank accounts and the RBS invoice discounting ledger
• Resolve any cashing-up discrepancies that arise
• Reconcile foreign currency bank accounts
• Reconcile loan accounts and post any interest journals required
• Enter foreign supplier invoices using correct exchange rate
• Arrange foreign payments as required, using brokers where appropriate
• Assist the Group Financial Director with payroll-related duties
• Ensure intercompany entries are processed and reconciled between companies within the Group
• Support the Group Financial Director with the timely close of the month and production of management accounts
• Posting of month-end journals, including prepayments, accruals, closing stock and depreciation
• Manage the day-to-day activities of the accounts team
