What does a Property Sales Advisor do?
As a property sales advisor, you will be responsible for the sale of properties, actively attracting new visitors through marketing activities, setting up show homes and handling the sales of new properties.
* Setting up and maintaining sales suites and on‑site show homes
* Attracting visitors to developments by means of marketing activities, such as leaflet drops or open house events
* Handling enquiries from prospective buyers
* Complying with on‑site health and safety requirements
* Liaising with financial advisors, solicitors and estate agents
* Progressing and securing sales
* Presenting and demonstrating the features and benefits of available homes
* Producing sales progress reports
* Delivering exceptional customer service
How to become a Property Sales Advisor
There are several routes to becoming a property sales advisor. No specific entry requirements exist; you may pursue a college course, an apprenticeship, on‑the‑job training or apply directly to an employer. Many employers value enthusiasm, willingness to learn and the ability to follow instructions. A Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) card may be required to work on a construction site.

Salary
* Newly trained property sales advisers can start at £25,000
* Trained with experience property sales advisers can earn up to £37,500
* Salary depends on location, employer, level of responsibility, overtime and industry‐recognised training
