About the Role
Are you ready to help shape the future of cybersecurity at one of the UK's fastest-growing MSPs? We are seeking a Cybersecurity Solutions Analyst to join our Technology Team and play a pivotal role in strengthening our cyber resilience. This strategic position has been created in response to the rapidly evolving threat landscape, where attackers are adopting increasingly sophisticated and targeted approaches against service providers. Your expertise will help ensure Croft remains resilient and proactive in defending our business and customers.
As a key point of contact for both internal teams and customer-facing security matters, you will collaborate across service desk, technical, and leadership teams to keep systems secure, respond to threats, and help shape the long-term direction of our cybersecurity services. What You'll Do
Security Operations
* Contribute to the development and maintenance of security baselines, processes, and runbooks.
* Assist with the deployment, configuration, and optimisation of security platforms (Antivirus, MDR, XDR, SIEM, SOAR, and others as adopted).
* Provide input on security frameworks and compliance requirements (e.g., Cyber Essentials, ISO 27001, GDPR, CAF, NIST).
* Support effective threat response and continuous improvement of incident handling.
Service Enablement & Stakeholder Engagement
* Act as a knowledgeable point of contact for security-related queries and escalations.
* Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to communicate risks, mitigations, and incident outcomes.
* Contribute to the growth of the cybersecurity function by helping evaluate new tools, services, and processes, while supporting compliance and audit activities.
What We're Looking For
Experience & Knowledge
* Demonstrable interest in cybersecurity, with foundational knowledge of threats, risks, and controls.
* Previous experience in IT operations, infrastructure, or technical support with exposure to security.
* Familiarity with endpoint protection, vulnerability management, and incident response concepts.
* Hands-on experience with security tooling including coverage of endpoints, cloud, communications, IAAS, PAAS, and other areas.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify technical concepts.
* Strong organisational skills, proactive problem-solving, and attention to detail.
Education & Certifications
* CompTIA Security+ (or equivalent security certification).
* Exposure to compliance frameworks such as Cyber Essentials, ISO 27001, GDPR, CAF, NIST.
