The Role
The IT Support Analyst ensures the seamless operation of our technology infrastructure. As part of our IT support team, you will provide technical assistance to end-users, resolve hardware and software issues, and maintain IT systems. Your responsibilities include responding to user inquiries, diagnosing problems, guiding on technology use, participating in system upgrades, maintaining documentation, supporting networks, assisting with security monitoring, and contributing to a secure and efficient computing environment. Your focus on user satisfaction and continuous improvement will support Safestore’s business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
* Monitoring and maintaining networks and servers.
* Upgrading, installing, and configuring hardware and software.
* Responding to technical issues and inquiries from store colleagues.
* Creating user accounts, managing access control, and administering licenses.
* Diagnosing and troubleshooting hardware and software problems.
* Documenting processes, backing up, and archiving data.
* Supervising and mentoring IT team members and providing support.
* Staying updated with IT best practices and advancements.
* Troubleshooting network connectivity issues.
* Assisting with LAN and WAN setup and maintenance.
* Collaborating with IT professionals to resolve complex issues.
* Providing remote assistance to users across locations.

* Proven experience in IT support or technician roles.
* Strong problem-solving skills.
* Excellent spoken and written communication skills.
* Self-motivated with personal drive and pride.
* Experience with Microsoft-based environments.
* Experience in retail, wholesale, or distributed companies.
* Knowledge of internet and network security protocols.
* Full and clean driving license.
