The Cancer Care directorate is seeking a full-time enthusiastic Operational Manager for a secondment/fixed-term position.
This role is essential for the operational management of the Directorate. The ideal candidate will have experience as an NHS manager and a proven track record in managing patient pathways to meet access targets. A solid understanding of the NHS is essential.
We are looking for an individual who can balance conflicting priorities and undertake project work across the Directorate. Experience in managing administration staff, budgets, and outpatient targets will be advantageous.
As a key member of the management team, you will provide leadership across the Directorate and deputise for the Deputy General and General Managers and Matrons.
You will be supported to develop your skills and gain valuable senior management experience.
Base Location: Royal Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Hospital. Please note that cross-site working is required; the primary base is Poole Hospital.
