There is no minimum number of hours required, although it is recommended to work as often as you can to retain your induction knowledge and familiarity with the service.
Weekdays, nights, and weekend shifts are regularly available and easy to view and book through an app. Within a few taps, you can secure the nursing shifts at Stanley House that you want.
Whether your nursing experience is from the NHS or private sector, you can join as a Bank Healthcare Assistant with an hourly rate that includes a 12.07% uplift for annual leave, plus access to benefits like free meals on duty, free parking, and more.

The service operates 24/7 with 12.5-hour standard shifts. As a Healthcare Assistant on our bank, you’ll be on a zero-hour contract, allowing you to choose which shifts to work each week.
Where you will be working
Location: Bosbury, Hereford, Herefordshire, HR8 1HB
You will work at Stanley House, which offers a multidisciplinary approach to long-term care, providing specialized care and therapeutic interventions.
Supporting residents with changing needs, Stanley House offers therapies like Physiotherapy and Art therapy, with input from a Neuropsychiatry Professor and monthly GP clinics.
Residents have varying needs, from managing some personal care to being fully reliant, including assistance with washing, dressing, shaving, continence, and eating. End-of-life care is also provided to help residents stay comfortable in familiar surroundings, with family support.
Residents enjoy activities such as wheelchair and walking assistance, family fun days, trips to cafes, shops, and bowling, making each day meaningful and rewarding.
