The Opportunity
We’re on the hunt for an HR Case Advisor to join our dynamic team of HR Business Partners and wider HR crew. You’ll be the go-to person for proactive employee relations case support, working closely with our people managers to tackle issues head-on. Spot trends, share your wisdom, and ensure best practices are the norm. We love fresh ideas and continuous improvement, so your input on processes will be highly valued. Drive interventions, identify emerging issues, and collaborate with legal and trade unions to keep everything running smoothly.
This role is based at Heysham 2, supporting both sites, and is offered on a 12-month fixed-term contract.

What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll be the expert providing HR advice and guidance, building strong relationships with stakeholders, including Trade Union representatives. You’ll advise on HR practices, support managers in case meetings, and help create hearing packs, attend meetings, take notes, and prepare outcomes. You’ll keep accurate records, suggest improvements, and collaborate with HR teams.
Using technology, you’ll track case progress, discuss actions with HR teams, and promote diversity and inclusion as core values.
Who You Are
You should be a CIPD Level 3 (or above) qualified HR professional, or working towards it, with solid generalist HR experience. Experience in employee relations, understanding employment law, data interpretation, stakeholder engagement, and strong communication skills are essential. We also support early-career HR professionals interested in employee relations.
