What does the role involve?
· Coordinate with suppliers to obtain quotes, negotiate pricing, and place purchase orders
· Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment of stock
· Collaborate with internal teams to understand their purchasing needs and requirements
· Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and delivery schedules
· Track orders and resolve any issues or discrepancies that may arise
· Monitor supplier performance and address any concerns or quality issues
· Implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality or service
· Provide backup for customer orders when needed
Your Experience
· Proven experience as a Purchaser or in a similar procurement role
· Strong knowledge of logistics and supply chain processes
· Proficient in using procurement systems and tools
· Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to secure favorable terms and pricing
· Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate supplier capabilities and performance
· Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external suppliers
· Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
