Specialist Pharmacy Technician (Rheumatology and Gastroenterology)
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and highly motivated pharmacy technician to join the rheumatology and gastroenterology departments. In this role, you will work closely with the lead pharmacist to support the safe and efficient switching of biologic treatments to the most cost‑effective options, ensuring excellent value and continuity of care for patients.
You will collaborate regularly with key stakeholders, including home‑care providers and colleagues across rheumatology, gastroenterology, and pharmacy. The position requires a proactive approach, strong problem‑solving abilities, sound decision‑making, and the confidence to work independently while maintaining a high‑quality service.
In addition, you will play a vital role in supporting lead pharmacists with the electronic issuing of home‑care prescriptions. Strong computer literacy and exceptional attention to detail are therefore essential.
