School Admissions Officer

We are looking for a new School Admissions Officer that will provide administrative support across School Admissions to join us.

About the role

The service works with relevant internal and external stakeholders including parents, schools, headteachers and other local authorities. Reporting to the School Admissions Operations Supervisor, the Admissions Officer responsibilities will include:

2. Providing help desk cover
3. Ensuring requests and enquiries are dealt with in an efficient and professional manner
4. Processing applications for the school admissions services in line with statutory deadlines
5. Maintaining accurate records of students and their admission arrangements using the appropriate databases

About you

Full training will be provided on the service area so please still apply if you feel you have transferable skills.

The successful candidate will be:

6. Educated to GCSE level C or above (or equivalent) in Mathematics and English or have an NVQ Level 2 in Business Administration with proven evidence of continued professional development
7. Experience with using G-Suite and MS Office applications.
8. Good customer service skills – interacting with internal and external users is a core requirement including routine enquiries from members of the public, receiving and responding to incoming communication
9. Experience of working with others to provide seamless shared support on behalf of an executive office.
