The Role – What You’ll Do
Plan and deliver engaging and challenging Computer Science lessons across KS3–KS5.
Inspire students to develop programming, problem-solving, and analytical skills through hands-on learning.

Contribute to departmental planning, assessment, and the development of new curriculum initiatives.
Support extracurricular opportunities such as coding clubs, robotics teams, and computing competitions.

Person Specification
Essential
Degree in Computer Science or a closely related field.
QTS/PGCE (or equivalent) with experience teaching KS3–KS5.
Excellent subject knowledge, including programming (Python, Java, or similar).
Strong communication and classroom management skills.
Commitment to safeguarding, inclusion, and student development.
Desirable
Experience teaching AQA or Edexcel specifications at GCSE/A-Level.
Interest in AI, game design, or robotics.
