Role Description
The Monitoring & Inspection (M&I) is responsible for quality assurance (QA) inspections of Global Banking & Global Markets (GBGM) AML/KYC client data across global divisions. This role is within the Global Operation M&I Quality Assurance team and involves supporting monthly control execution and directly overseeing the QA program. You will join an international team and conduct onboarding quality inspections of CDD and EDD requirements for GBGM records that have recently onboarded.
Responsibilities
* Conduct and coordinate thorough onboarding quality inspections of CDD and EDD for GBGM records that have recently completed onboards.
* Ensure associate performance and control effectiveness comply with AML regulations and policies.
* Execute QA activities including control execution, case management, and timely reporting of results.
* Provide support on regulatory exams, internal audits, and other Monitoring & Inspection reviews.
* Capture data to support governance activities for dashboard reporting.
* Assist in enhancing the Quality Assurance program and implement optimized controls to support business continuity.
What We Are Looking For
* Logical reasoning and analytical skills to assess escalations, identify improvements, and drive effective solutions.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong organizational abilities.
* Ability to prioritise tasks, work independently with minimal supervision, and manage multiple requests.
* ACAMS or ICA certification is a plus.
* Proficiency in analysing large datasets to develop and present executive-level reports.
* Experience with Risk Management, Quality Control, and Quality Assurance frameworks.
* Knowledge of global AML concepts, AML/KYC requirements, and Economic Sanctions laws in a corporate environment.
* Background in Quality Control/Assurance testing, PRC, RCSA, internal audit, risk management, process improvement, or related control functions.
* Exposure to Global Banking, Global Markets, or diverse business lines.
* Advanced skills in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and SharePoint for managing large datasets and reports.
