We are seeking two Finance Assistants to join our friendly and busy Financial Operations Team: one based in Income Operations and one in Accounts Payable.
You will provide high-quality customer service, handling financial queries from internal and external stakeholders professionally and efficiently.
In Income Operations, your tasks will include:
1. Allocation of receipts and payments
2. Setting up and maintaining Direct Debit & recurring card payments for tuition fees and accommodation
3. Reconciling the University’s bank accounts
4. Financial compliance
In Accounts Payable, your responsibilities will include:
1. Processing supplier invoices promptly
2. Making payments to staff and students according to policies and deadlines
3. Resolving invoice payment queries
4. Maintaining supplier accounts
About You
You will be self-motivated, able to work under pressure, and proactive in meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment. You should be a team player with an enthusiastic, flexible, and helpful attitude. Experience in Accounts Payable and/or Accounts Receivable within an environment requiring high organization and accuracy is essential. Experience in the Higher Education sector is advantageous but not essential.

Interviews will be held at Frenchay Campus on 16th July 2025. These are full-time, permanent roles, 37 hours per week, with options for part-time via job share. The roles are primarily campus-based, with some remote work possible.
Salary offers will align with our guidelines, based on skills and experience.
