Hays Senior Finance are working with a dynamic organisation seeking an experienced Financial Controller to lead its finance function and provide high-quality financial insight to support strategic decision-making.
Your new role
Reporting to senior leadership, the role is responsible for delivering accurate and timely financial reporting, including monthly management accounts, KPIs, and board-levelmentary across a small group ofpanies.
Key responsibilities include budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis, alongside managing working capital and overseeing accounts payable, receivable, and payroll processes. The role also involves preparing detailed financial statements, supporting audit activities, and ensuring full statutorypliance. A strong focus is placed on improving financial processes, enhancing reporting efficiency through systems, and partnering with operational teams to drive performance and profitability. What you'll need to succeed
You will be a qualified accountant ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent with significant experience in a similar role. You will demonstrate strong analytical skills,mercial awareness, and the ability to influence decision-making across the business. Excellent organisational,munication, and presentation skills are essential, along with a proactive and detail-oriented approach.
