Semi-Senior Accountant
Belper
Up to £32,000 DOE
We are seeking a talented and motivated Semi Senior Accountant to join our client, a well-established accountancy practice in Derby. The ideal candidate will have experience in accounts preparation and tax compliance, and be able to work well under pressure while meeting deadlines.

Responsibilities as a Semi Senior Accountant:
* Preparation of accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
* Completion of VAT returns
* Preparation of tax computations and tax returns
* Assisting with audit assignments
* Preparation of Management Accounts
* Maintaining and developing relationships with clients
* Managing workload and meeting deadlines
Requirements of the Semi Senior Accountant:
* At least 2 years’ experience working in a UK Accountancy Practice
* Strong technical knowledge of accounting principles and tax compliance
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy
* Ideally experienced using Sage, QuickBooks, and Xero
