The role We are looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to take commercial responsibility for a portfolio of projects across multiple sectors. You will ensure cost control, accurate financial reporting, and strong commercial performance from pre-construction through to final account.
Key responsibilities
* Prepare and manage project budgets, cashflow, and cost plans
* Prepare valuations, variations, claims, and final accounts
* Procure subcontractors and negotiate contracts
* Monitor project costs against budgets and forecasts
* Lead commercial reporting using Procore
* Work closely with project managers, site teams, and senior leadership
* Maintain strong relationships with clients and supply chain partners
About you
* Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within construction contracting
* Experience across education, healthcare, residential or commercial projects beneficial
* Strong understanding of UK construction contracts and procurement routes
* Excellent negotiation, communication, and reporting skills
* High attention to detail and strong financial acumen
* Procore experience advantageous but training can be provided
