We are seeking a skilled and motivated Field Service Engineer to join our team in a hybrid role combining on-site customer support with office-based technical work. This position involves installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting equipment at customer locations, as well as supporting internal operations, documentation, and planning when office-based.

Field-Based Duties
* Install, commission, and service equipment at customer sites
* Diagnose faults and carry out repairs in a timely manner
* Perform preventative maintenance and system upgrades
* Provide on-site technical support and training to customers
* Ensure all work complies with health & safety regulations
* Complete service reports and documentation after visits
Office-Based Duties
* Provide remote technical support to customers and colleagues
* Prepare reports, service documentation, and maintenance records
* Assist with scheduling, planning, and parts coordination
* Support continuous improvement initiatives and product feedback
* Liaise with engineering, sales, and customer service teams
Essential Requirements
* Proven experience in a field service, maintenance, or similar engineering role
* Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills (mechanical, electrical, or electro-mechanical)
* Full UK driving licence
* Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
* Strong communication and customer-facing skills
* Based locally and able to travel regularly to customer sites
Desirable
* Relevant engineering qualification (e.g. HNC/HND, NVQ, or equivalent)
* Experience with [insert specific equipment, systems, or industry]

Working Pattern
* Hybrid role: split between field-based work and office presence
* Regular travel to customer sites (primarily within UK & Ireland)
