Wood is currently recruiting for a Principal Instrumentation and Control Engineer (contract). The role will be working a Middle Eastern chemicals Pre-FEED project in our Reading office on a hybrid basis. The role will initially be for around 12 months.

The Role
Working as a PMT Instrument Engineer, and part of the Client PMT team, you will be responsible for the review of project work, in accordance with the Discipline Design Instructions, including Wood and / or Project Procedures with a focus on cost efficiency and reduction

Expected:
1. BSc Electrical / Process / Process Control Engineering
2. EPC, Operations and Maintenance experience
3. Extensive experience in instrument and control engineering in the oil, gas or petrochemical industry
4. To be technically astute and conversant with the lasted advances in technology
5. Experience in a similar role within the PMT / contractor environment is essential
6. Self-motivated and confident in reaching out to others within the Client's Operations and Maintenance teams to bring external experience into the project
7. Previous Aramco and / or Exxon experience
Desirable:
Middle East project experience is preferable (Chemicals or Gas Plants, Refineries etc)
