Your new role
As Financial Controller, you will take ownership of day-to-day finance operations, statutory reporting and cash management while partnering with senior stakeholders to enhance performance. This is a hands-on role where you’ll lead month-end close, quarterly reporting, andpliance activities, as well as drive process improvements and system upgrades. You’ll also play a key role in budgeting, forecasting, and delivering insightful analysis to support strategic decision-making.Key responsibilities include:
1. Deliver accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
2. Partner with non-finance operational teams on pricing, margin analysis and performance KPIs.
3. Oversight of AP, AR, treasury, payroll interface and balance sheet integrity.
4. Strengthen internal controls andernance frameworks.
5. Oversee audits, taxpliance and relationships with external advisors.
6. Mentor and develop a small finance team, fostering a culture of accountability and improvement.
What you'll need to succeed
7. Ideally qualified with ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent; candidates qualified by experience are also considered as suitable.
8. Good technical / financial accounting knowledge as well as budgeting, forecasting and management skills.
9. Proven ability to improve processes and controls in a growing or transitioning business.
10. Excellentmunication skills and confidence in presenting to senior stakeholders.
11. A proactive, pragmatic approach with the ability to simplifyplexity and deliver solutions.
