Start Date: Monday 24th November 2025
Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent
Pay rate: Competitive £600-£750 per week (£120-£150 per day)
(dependent on experience and responsibilities)
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm

We are working closely with SEN Primary School in Bury to support them in filling their vacancies for passionate, dedicated Teaching Assistants.

As a Level 4 Teaching Assistant (HLTA), you will play an essential role in supporting students and assisting in their academic and personal development, and contributing to a calm, structured, and nurturing learning environment.
What we're looking for from a Level 4 Teaching Assistant:
A recent graduate (2:2 or higher) OR prior experience as a Teaching Assistant in a similar SEND setting.
Previous experience working with Special Educational Needs is essential.
A strong commitment to supporting children with complex needs and a passion for making a difference in their lives.
Previous experience working in a UK school
Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year
To be eligible you must:
Level 4 Teaching Assistant qualifications
Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service OR be willing to process a new application
Provide two professional child related references
