The Role
As an Executive Events Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in our Event Planning & Delivery team. Working across departments, you’ll help ensure every event is meticulously planned and seamlessly delivered. From client liaison to operational oversight, your contribution will be key to our continued success.
Key Responsibilities
* Act as the first point of contact for internal event-related queries, resolving them efficiently and accurately.
* Proactively plan and resource events to ensure smooth and cost-effective delivery.
* Supervise and schedule event delivery staff to meet operational needs.
* Be a key user of the venue management system, providing support to Event Managers and others by processing and inputting data, ensuring consistency and effectiveness.
* Plan and deliver events, working directly with clients and acting as the venue Duty Manager where required.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, policies, and procedures.
* Provide expert support during client sales visits and site tours.
What We’re Looking For
* A friendly, personable and approachable can-do attitude with a natural problem-solving ability.
* Calm under pressure, with strong decision-making and prioritisation skills.
* Excellent organisation, communication and presentation.
* Proven experience in a fast-paced events environment, ideally in a similar role.
* Experience managing large delivery teams and acting as Duty Manager.
* Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office and venue management systems (Momentus / Ungerboeck).
* Sound knowledge of health & safety, licensing, security, and first aid requirements.
* Ability to work independently, follow instructions, and lead teams when needed.
You will hold, or be willing to obtain, the following qualifications / certificates alongside all other required training:
* SIA Door Supervisor License
* First Aid
* Personal License
