This role is within our Prudential Team in Risk Assurance, Financial Services. The team provides prudential regulatory advice and guidance to clients in the financial services sector, helping them maintain adequate financial resources and manage risks per regulatory requirements and their business objectives. Our diverse client base ranges from niche challenger firms to established financial institutions across the UK and international jurisdictions.
Key Responsibilities
* Demonstrate experience in payment services, prudential regulation, governance (including SM & CR and effectiveness reviews), compliance monitoring, and regulatory gap analysis.
* Business development: support strategic initiatives, develop propositions and respond to tenders, prepare tender/pitch presentations, and produce materials for seminars/events on hot topics.
* Delivery: manage and deliver client projects including stakeholder engagement and relationship management, structured document reviews and gap analysis against regulatory standards, client interviews and process walk‑throughs, developing solutions, reports, and recommendations, and quality assurance and work approval in line with standards.
* Participate in and represent RSM at seminars, events, and client engagements.
Experience & Qualifications
* Relevant experience in the financial services sector and regulatory practice.
* Degree level education; ACA/ACCA or equivalent preferred.
* Experience in client‑facing roles and relationship management.
* Business development experience, familiarity with tenders and propositions.
* Knowledge of financial services and regulatory bodies.
