Parts Coordinator

About the Role:
As a Parts Coordinator, you will be responsible for the planning, sourcing, and efficient management of parts required by our Field and Workshop Engineers. You'll work closely with the Service and Sales teams, helping to ensure first-time fix rates, reduce downtime, and keep our operations running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and process parts orders for internal teams and external customers
Ensure timely and accurate parts supply to support engineering deadlines
Source parts at competitive prices to improve profitability
Maintain stock levels, track fast-moving items, and manage engineer van stocks
Liaise with vendors and suppliers to raise purchase orders and book in deliveries
Check vendor invoices and ensure accurate reconciliation
Support technical enquiries with accurate parts sourcing
Handle incoming service and parts enquiries via phone and email
Prepare shipping and receiving records; dispatch and return parts as required
Assist in stocktaking, warranty returns, and all parts-related administration
Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organised parts department in line with Health & Safety policies
What You'll Bring:
Strong organisational and communication skills
Attention to detail and a hands-on approach
Confidence using IT systems for order processing and inventory management
Experience in a parts, engineering, or technical service environment (preferred)
A team-first attitude and willingness to support across departments
A minimum of 5 years parts/industry related experience.
