Job Description
Are you a passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant seeking a new opportunity in a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Slough? Our well-established teaching agency is working closely with a friendly, forward-thinking primary school to recruit a committed Full-Time Teaching Assistant to support pupils across EYFS, KS1, or KS2.
This is an excellent opportunity for experienced TAs or recent graduates looking to develop a career in education.
Key Responsibilities
Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and accessible lessons.
Work with small groups or individual pupils to support learning and progress.
Assist in managing classroom behaviour and promoting a positive learning environment.
Provide one-to-one support for pupils with additional needs (SEN experience desirable).
Support pupils with social, emotional, and academic development.
Help prepare classroom resources and displays.
Attend staff meetings, training sessions, and contribute to the wider school community.
Requirements
Previous experience working with children (in a school or similar setting).
A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and well-being.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other staff members.
Relevant qualifications (e.g., CACHE Level 2/3, degree in education or related field) – desirable but not essential.
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply for one).
Right to work in the UK.
