The Content Manager is responsible for writing and managing a diverse range of content-related tasks, from content creation to campaign management and technical digital projects.
This position reports to the Director of Content and is part of the Marketing Team located in Cambridge, UK and will be an on-site role.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Content Creation & Strategy – Develop high-quality content across various formats and shape overall content direction.
Project Management – Lead content initiatives, ensuring timely execution and alignment with business objectives.
Stakeholder Collaboration – Work with internal teams, subject matter experts, and external partners to produce impactful content.
Digital & Technical Content Oversight – Manage digital content requirements, including SEO optimization and website updates.
Performance Tracking & Optimization – Analyze content effectiveness and refine strategies based on key metrics and insights.
The essential requirements of the job include:
A proven background in content management, writing, and editorial work. Scientific background preferred, but not essential
Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Experience in digital content, SEO, and technical content requirements.
Ability to work cross-functionally with marketing, communications and technical teams.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
Content management systems, or publishing tools
Content strategy
