Protocol Education are seeking a Specialist Learning Support Assistant to work within a well-resourced SEND school in the Peterlee area.
The school supports pupils with autism, learning difficulties and communication needs, providing a structured and supportive environment that allows pupils to learn at their own pace.
Your role will involve:
• Supporting pupils during classroom learning activities
• Assisting with communication strategies and structured routines
• Encouraging confidence, independence and social development
• Supporting pupils both in the classroom and during wider school activities
Candidates should have a genuine passion for supporting pupils with SEND and the ability to work as part of a dedicated school team.
A DBS on the Update Service is preferred, however candidates without one will be required to complete a DBS application through Protocol Education.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
