Role: Software Validation Engineer
Location: Warwick, CV34 6TE
Hours: 37 hours per week | between 08:00 and 16:30 Monday to Thursday and 08:00 - 13:00 Friday
Salary: between £45,000 and £55,000 pa DOE

What you'll do:
* Design and run software validation tests for electric vehicle systems
* Analyse requirements, create test cases, and document results
* Test software on PC, HIL, test bench, and vehicles
* Recommend improvements and support vehicle commissioning, including off-site visits
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust, production-ready software
What you'll bring:
* Degree in Engineering (or equivalent)
* Experience validating automotive software and control systems
* Skilled in model-based programming and familiar with CAN protocols
* Strong grasp of the V-model and requirements capture
* Experience with embedded software debugging and calibration tools
* Knowledge of functional safety (ISO26262) and cyber security (ISO21434) is a plus
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
* Willingness to travel and support off-site activities
