Description
Our last-mile delivery partners are crucial to our service, and we work closely with them to ensure deliveries of all sizes reach their destinations. As a Senior Account Manager, you’ll foster strong relationships with our partners, build connections, help implement efficient delivery processes, and resolve any issues they encounter, aiming to establish long-term successful partnerships.
Key job responsibilities
* Support last-mile delivery partners across the UK and Europe to meet compliance requirements and prepare routes.
* Hold regular meetings with partners.
* Resolve partner pain points.
* Use data to understand partner performance and support improvements.
A day in the life
You’ll be based at one of our sites, allowing close oversight of the delivery process and visibility to guide our logistics partners. You’ll manage all aspects of partner relationships, from contract initiation to performance tracking. Clear communication is essential; you’ll maintain daily contact with your partners to ensure smooth delivery operations.
About The Team
Amazon Extra Large (AMXL) handles heavy items like furniture and large appliances. Our team manages the entire service, including supply chain, delivery, and returns. We provide extra customer care by unpacking, assembling, installing, and removing old items, focusing on safety, productivity, and innovation. We plan to expand our fulfillment centers and delivery stations across the UK and Europe. Our team includes operations, supply chain, business intelligence, and project management professionals, each vital to our growth.
Basic Qualifications
* A degree.
* Relevant experience in account management in a fast-paced environment.
* Proficiency in verbal and written English and the local language.
* Experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
* Experience using data analytics to solve performance issues.
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience in logistics, transportation, supply chain, or distribution.
* Stakeholder communication experience, including with leadership.
* Degree in business management, economics, law, engineering, or related fields.
