About the Role
As a Family Learning Tutor, you will take responsibility for planning and delivering engaging, high‑quality sessions that support adults and families to learn together. You will play a key role in creating inclusive learning environments and supporting learners to achieve their personal goals.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Plan and deliver inclusive Family Learning sessions
* Support adults to build skills, confidence and independence
* Design and facilitate joint parent/carer and child activities
* Adapt delivery to meet a wide range of learner needs
* Work collaboratively with schools, settings and colleagues
* Track learner progress and provide feedback
* Embed safeguarding, equality, diversity and inclusion within your delivery
We are looking for someone who:
* Is passionate about adult and family learning
* Can build positive relationships with adults and children
* Is adaptable, organised and learner‑focused
* Can support learners with a wide range of needs to achieve and progress
You will have:
* Experience of planning and delivering learning (ideally with adults or families)
* Strong communication and organisational skills
* A commitment to inclusive practice and high‑quality teaching
