Here at Serco, we work with Asylum Accommodation and Support Services to assist individuals through the asylum system, including providing temporary accommodation. Our contracts focus on supporting vulnerable asylum seekers and ensuring they have access to necessary support, with clear standards for accommodation conditions.
As a Service Delivery Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in meeting service users’ needs within agreed timeframes, in accordance with Serco’s contractual obligations to UK Visa & Immigration (UKVI) regarding accommodation and transport.
Your responsibilities include building effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring excellent service delivery standards, and managing the scheduling and prioritization of repairs and defects for both internal and external operatives, in compliance with contractual requirements.
Key accountabilities include:
1. Maintaining data integrity of IT systems to support performance reporting.
2. Dealing with vendor queries daily and escalating issues when necessary.
3. Reviewing and re-classifying reported defects as appropriate.
Qualifications and skills required:
1. Ability to engage with stakeholders and build successful working relationships.
2. Effective time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks independently.
3. Strong ICT skills.
Additional features of the role:
1. Willingness to travel within regions and the UK (a valid UK driver’s license is essential).
2. Security clearance at Counter Terrorism Check level and CRB checks are required.
