The Role
We are seeking an Environmental Consultant to join our market-leading Environmental Transaction Services (ETS) team. You’ll support the delivery of environmental and sustainability due diligence for a wide variety of UK and European clients involved in property transactions, mergers, and acquisitions.
This is an exciting opportunity for a consultant with experience in ground risk and environmental compliance. Exposure to sustainability issues is a bonus, but not essential. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality technical work in a fast-paced and commercial environment.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Support the delivery of environmental due diligence projects, including Phase 1 Environmental Assessments and compliance reviews
* Contribute to technical assessments relating to ground risk, environmental compliance, and (where applicable) sustainability
* Draft high-quality, commercially focused reports
* Coordinate with internal teams and external suppliers
* Help manage timelines, budgets, and client expectations
* Work alongside senior colleagues to develop your project and client management skills
* Contribute to a positive team culture and continuous service improvement
About You
* Degree in a relevant subject (e.g. Environmental Science, Geoscience, Sustainability, Chemistry)
* Experience delivering environmental due diligence or related environmental consultancy work
* Solid understanding of ground contamination and/or environmental compliance
* Interest or developing knowledge in sustainability topics
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
* Ability to manage multiple deadlines and tasks effectively
* Strong IT skills (Microsoft Office suite)
* Full UK driving licence preferred
