This is a fantastic opportunity for a strong Junior Sous Chef with a background in quality-led London dining and a genuine passion for exceptional produce. Working closely with the senior kitchen team, you will play a key role in delivering high standards across all areas of the operation.
The Concept
A vibrant, high-volume brasserie inspired by French and New York dining culture, with a menu leaning toward the French/Mediterranean style. The kitchen delivers a mix of:
* Events menus
The site currently caters for around 100 covers (up to 140 at peak) and has strong potential for further growth.
The Role
As Junior Sous Chef, you will:
* Support the Head Chef and Sous Chef in the day-to-day running of the kitchen
* Help lead and motivate the kitchen team during service
* Ensure high standards of food quality, consistency, and presentation
* Assist with prep, service, and kitchen organisation across all sections
* Support stock control, ordering, and minimising wastage
* Help maintain cleanliness, food safety, and kitchen compliance standards
* Contribute ideas toward menu development and seasonal dishes
What We’re Looking For
* Previous experience as a Junior Sous Chef in a high-end kitchen
* Background in high-quality London restaurants
* Passion for fresh, seasonal, product-led cooking
* Strong work ethic and ability to perform in a fast-paced environment
* A positive, hands-on approach with good communication skills
* Experience with high-volume service and events catering is advantageous
* Ambitious and eager to develop within a quality-driven kitchen
