JOB PURPOSE

The SVP Delivery is responsible for the complete lifecycle of AtlasEdge’s data centre delivery: from early-stage planning and design through construction, commissioning, and operational handover.

This executive role combines strategic vision with operational execution, ensuring that every new site, expansion, and upgrade is planned, designed, and delivered to the highest standards of quality, safety, and performance. The SVP Delivery leads a multidisciplinary European organisation, uniting planning, design, engineering, and delivery under a single integrated delivery model.

Success in this role means balancing innovation with discipline, establishing a framework that delivers consistent, cost-efficient, and sustainable data centre developments at scale.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

* Define and execute the overall delivery strategy across Europe, aligning planning, design, and execution under a unified vision.
* Develop and implement standardised processes, tools, and governance to drive consistency, efficiency, and accountability across all delivery stages.
* Provide strategic leadership and insight to the executive team on programme performance, risk, and capital investment priorities.
* Ensure the delivery organisation supports AtlasEdge’s long-term growth, ESG, and sustainability objectives.

Planning & Design

* Lead the creation and evolution of AtlasEdge’s data centre design standards, ensuring scalability, efficiency, and environmental performance.
* Oversee site planning, feasibility studies, and permitting processes, ensuring timely and informed decision-making for new developments.
* Champion design innovation and technical excellence, fostering collaboration between engineering, architecture, and sustainability disciplines.
* Drive value engineering and design optimisation to improve constructability, reduce cost and schedule, and enhance lifecycle performance.
* Ensure planning and design outputs align seamlessly with business strategy, operational requirements, and customer expectations.

Development Delivery

* Oversee all aspects of data centre project execution, including construction, commissioning, and handover.
* Establish clear performance metrics for cost, schedule, quality, and safety across all delivery programmes.
* Drive continuous improvement through lessons learned, benchmarking, and application of best practices.
* Maintain robust capital expenditure control, procurement discipline, and vendor performance management.
* Ensure all projects meet or exceed environmental, health, and safety standards while maintaining customer satisfaction and operational readiness.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

* Partner with Operations to ensure a seamless transition from project completion to operational stability.
* Collaborate with Sales, Product, and Finance teams to support commercial feasibility, budgeting, and capacity planning.
* Integrate planning, design, and delivery activities with the company’s broader growth and investment strategies.

People & Culture

* Build and lead a high-performing, diverse, and collaborative delivery organisation that fosters accountability and innovation.
* Promote a culture of safety, inclusion, and excellence in execution.
* Develop internal talent and leadership capabilities across technical, commercial, and operational disciplines.

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE

* Minimum 15 years of experience in senior leadership roles within the data centre or mission-critical infrastructure sector.
* Proven track record overseeing large-scale planning, design, and construction programmes across multiple geographies.
* Strong technical understanding of CSA (Civil, Structural, Architectural) and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) systems.
* Demonstrated experience managing complex capital delivery portfolios, including budget accountability and risk management.
* Deep understanding of data centre design principles, sustainability, and lifecycle optimisation.
* Proven ability to lead cross-functional and multicultural teams, fostering collaboration and high performance.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at executive and board levels.
* Strong commercial and analytical acumen, with experience integrating delivery outcomes with strategic business goals.
