Amazon seeks a Finance Manager to lead video ads pricing as part of its growing European Amazon Advertising business.

Finance Manager joining the European Amazon Advertising Yield and Pricing team is an experienced and highly motivated individual who will manage core aspects of video ad pricing including price modelling, upfront program management and driving strategic initiatives. This is a unique opportunity to develop and implement pricing for ad packages consisting of placements across Amazon video solutions.
The role will work closely with sales and product teams to maximize monetization of Amazon's video solutions. Day to day activities include reviewing product performance and adoption, identifying opportunities for improving performance, striking the right balance between price and sell through, creating performance metrics that demonstrate the value of the products and monitoring compliance and adoption across the organization, including European locales.
This role requires an individual with excellent analytical abilities as well as outstanding business acumen. The successful candidate will be a self-starter, comfortable with ambiguity, with strong attention to detail, and an ability to work in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.
This position is office-based, with the flexibility to work remotely up to two days per week in line with Amazon's current flexible work guidance. Amazon encourages open communication about unique needs for flexible arrangements
Key job responsibilities
-Establish pricing for our Video ads business to maximize total monetization by setting optimal pricing.
-Support upfront negotiations with Sales and Product leaders.
-Initiatives management, tracking and regular reporting of initiatives.
-Manage and execute entire projects or components of large projects from start to finish including project management, data gathering and analysis, problem solving, and clear communication of insights and recommendations.
-Contribute with deep-dive analyses and insights in Quarterly and Monthly Business Reviews.
-Incorporating critical technical and pricing details about different ad products across multiple geographies in pricing portal at periodic intervals
-Identify opportunities for automation and streamline the pricing processes

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, statistics or business, or a Bachelor's degree and experience in quantitative role (engineering, process re-engineering, quality assurance)
- Experience in Excel (macros, index, conditional list, arrays, pivots, lookups)
- Experience in pricing, finance, accounting or a related analytical field
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g., financial savings, operational improvements, or customer benefits)
- Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)
- Experience in creating process improvements with automation and analysis
- Experience building and managing financial models for business forecasting and problem solving
