The Day Service promotes, supports and improves the mental, physicaland emotional well-being of vulnerable people, in order that they canparticipate in their communities and with their families, and enjoy the bestlife possible.
The aim of the service is to support vulnerable people to remainliving in their own homes. An effective Day Service should aim to ensure thatthis group can participate in and help steer the services required, taking intoaccount their specific needs. The Dayservice should also enable service users to make informed decisions andto facilitate access to services across the health, social and voluntarysectors.

Job Title: Deputy Manager
Base: Cromwell Road Resource Centre
Hours: 37.5 a week, permanent
Salary: Range 6 £31,855 - £43,163. You will be appointed on a fixed salary point within the range.
We are seeking ahighly motivated, passionate and committed Deputy manager to join themultidisciplinary team at Cromwell Road Resource centre (CRRC) within CPG. Thepost will be based at the CRRC and will oversee the safe and effective management of thelearning disability day services provision alongside the service manager. Youwill work alongside then service manager and lead on thereview, development, implementation of service strategies including completionof audits, action plans, Incident reviews and quality assurance.
On a day to day basis, you will manage and co-ordinate the DaySupport provision for individuals using the service, promoting independence forservice users and support for carers.
You will have delegated autonomy in the delivery ofservice and will deputise in the absence of the Manager.
You will support the Manager in the management of Cromwell Resource Centreincluding all aspects of recruitment, supervision, probation reviews,capability and conduct, staff risk assessments, PDRs, Rotas etc.

Qualifications

Experience
* At least 3 years supervisory experience
* Experience of working with individuals with complex health and social needs
* Working knowledge of relevant legislation
* Have worked in a multi-disciplinary team or in partnership with other disciplines
* Experience of working with Adults with Disabilities.
