The Role
As an Audit Senior, you will play a key role in leading audit assignments from planning through to completion. You will work closely with managers and partners, supervising junior team members and ensuring high-quality delivery across all engagements.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead audit assignments from planning to completion for a varied portfolio of clients
* Prepare audit planning documentation and identify key risk areas
* Supervise and mentor junior team members, providing on‑the‑job training
* Review the work of the audit team, ensuring accuracy and compliance
* Build strong client relationships and act as a key point of contact during assignments
* Prepare statutory accounts and liaise with clients to resolve queries
* Ensure compliance with professional standards and regulatory requirements
About You
* Part‑qualified or fully qualified ACCA / ACA (or equivalent)
* Recent experience working within UK practice, ideally in an audit-focused role
* Strong technical knowledge of UK GAAP and audit standards
* Confident leading audits and supervising staff
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage client relationships
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage deadlines
